Our Simple Packages have been designed to keep the costs of the funeral to a minimum without compromising on care, dignity or quality. The packages also include visiting your loved one in any of our chapels of rest.
In order to provide these low cost funeral packages, we are not able to add any extra services ( with the exception of hygienic treatment which may be added at a cost of £160) however, any service or product not required, will be deducted from the package price.

This package is only available to PCC residents only. The ownership of the grave for Portsmouth residents and Non-Portsmouth residents vary, so please ask your arranger for advice and costs.
In all circumstances the grave purchase fee will be in addition to the Package price.
* During Office Hours 10am to 4pm - out of hours removal are an additional £125
** Additional pall bearers may be required - we will advise you accordingly (£50 per bearer)

*Our Payment Policy*
When arranging a funeral, there are two elements that make up the full cost. The funeral director’s fees and the third-party fees (also known as disbursements). The funeral director’s fee are our direct fees for the services that we provide, the third party fees/disbursement fees are the fees we pay upfront on your behalf i.e. Crematorium or burial fees, the minister/celebrant fee, and the doctors fee (if applicable).
In most cases we require a deposit within 48 hours after the funeral arrangements have taken place. This consists of all the third-party/disbursement fees.
The remaining balance to be settled at least 48 hours before the funeral takes place.
If the funeral account has not been settled within the agreed times, we may have to postpone the funeral.
We accept and can support you to apply for Department for Work and Pensions payments (DWP). Please talk to one of our arrangers for more information.
